Screwing things up by being over confident in a job interview, doesn't help at all. Despite of admitting the mistakes, trying to cover things up when it was pretty obvious that I had messed up everything, would only do more harm than good. I don't have to wait for any good news, and I don't have any luck left, to secure me the job.

Lesson learned. Stop being over confident in the next job interview, and hopefully I'll be all fine. Once bitten, twice shy. Twice bitten, never cry. Thrice bitten? I better die!!
